Congratulations Robotics Team!

Congratulations to our Robotics Team, the Robo-Stallions, for Winning the distinguished Inspire Award, at LAUSD ’s and I.am Angel Foundation's First Tech Challenge.They also received the 2nd place awards in "Design" and "Motivate".Thank you, Mr. Rios and Ms. Muñiz for mentoring and supporting our Stallion Leaders.Shoutout to Will.I.Am for taking a picture with our students! About Us

Home of the Stallions, Sylmar Leadership Academy is a TK-8 School for Advanced Studies where opportunities are provided so every child can be a leader. Our school culture takes inspiration from Franklin Covey’s The Leader in Me process. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People are integrated into our daily interactions and daily teaching. All students will culminate their educational experience with 21st-century leadership skills to effectively apply critical thinking processes, use disciplined ways of thinking creatively, communicate information clearly and effectively using a variety of media/technology skills, work independently and collaboratively to solve problems and accomplish personal goals. As a united force, the school staff with parents and community members educate the hearts and minds of every child. We Inspire, Empower, Lead!
